IMO Frank Trax was the best of the night closely followed by Hardwick.

i'd say halliwell and hardwick were my fav's last weekend with nick riley being a close 2nd.

Tiesto was awful in places and after his set had finshed i was longing for a consistant set from frank trax (which didn't really happen)

to be honest from near the end of hardwicks set to the beginning off eddies i really couldn't be arsed dancing at all.

i'm usually open minded about dj's and in this case i can't say i was truely impressed from any dj really and had a very average night.

My review:

Riley: Same as ever...got a bit boring, decent warm up, nothing to write home about.

Matt Hardwick: played very weird, took it trancey from Rileys warm up, then played some proggier stuff then minimalist trance, like the kind of stuff platipus were releasing in '96 :p

Tiesto: pretty much what I expected, no effort, no structure whatsoever, probably the worst set I've seen from him, a couple of real good tunes tho, in Airwave - Lady Blue and Coldplay - Clocks (Marco V Mix), still didn't make up for Rank-1 - Breathing tho
:stongue:

Frank Trax: Nothing interesting here, played a few decent tunes, but nothing new, nothing exciting. Let down :(

Eddie Halliwell: Pretty bad, played some ok tunes but pretty muh banged it out for the finish, scratching was good, too much cutting with the mixer though.

Overall I enjoyed myself but it had to be the worst crasher I've etended for music.

29th should be a blinder though :D

couldn't have put it better myself...and didn't :p

Eddie was good for he tuneage but was pretty dire at his mixing, which was a shame becuase i've seen him play APOLUTLY AMAZING sets before, but he was obviously far to twatted to 'do his stuff' this time.

Alot of people say he scratches too much but I enjoy it, what I don't enjoy is the constant cutting over the breakdowns of tracks, especially over the vocal part of 'The Prophet' at the very end :(

nice to meet u tho :D

'our leanne' as in, your g/f leanne? :eyes: :eyes: :eyes: .. nice one mate, you hang on to her :)

Cyberbunnie
yeah i went too, and had an alright night considering that i've been ill all week and never really wanted to go in the first place
very very hard i found, to find my mates when i lost them, considering that every other person was wearing army pants and t-shirts - hehehehe
only downside to Crasher for me, is the distance that i have to travel to get there
plus, afterwards, i have to pretty much put my life into the hands of my mates and pray to god that they will get me back home in one piece, while very clearly, being off their
don't think i'll be going there again with this certain person - scared the bloody hell out of me - doing well over 100mph on the motorway and then finding some crazy country lane way out of Sheffield that he decided to do the windy corners in 5th gear - ARRGGHHHHHHHH

who was it that i met in there anyway ???
me and Chris (Moonman) came up to a few of you in the first room you come into - i was wearing pink baggy combats and a pink top with my name "Lolly" on the front :D
nice to meet you - whoever you were :)

v.v.v.v.v.v.v.v.v.strange @ GC...

first of all.. the dresscode looked pants. everyone was wearing the same thing and it was all very dull looking..

music-wise.. i thought it was mint up until tiesto's last hour where he forgot how to beatmatch and decided it would be fun to slap random techno into the middle of euphoric trance..

matt hardwick was in amazing. tiesto needs to take a look at him and see how structure is done! i thought nick riley was v.good also.. started on some very strange (but good) electro stuff and brought it nicely upto the chunky tribal soundin stuff..

frank traxx.. hrm.. was ok, obviously didnt have a clue when it came to working the mixer but he played some good tunes..

eddie was very hit and miss for me. as usual i think he was trying to do too much whilst too ed lol.. some of the cutting and stuff he was doing was world class, but other stuff was dire. was very impressed with how he started the set tho.. all that beat-juggling must have worn him out hehe.. nice finish to the night (the prophet) although it was a pty it was the piss-wank-arse-bollocks oakenfold version :/

as for the afterparty... wtf happened?? i dont understand lol
