yeah there were some strange happenings...one that john missed, too. ian said it was the decks, i don't know...old vinyl? whatever..it wasn't good. everyone looked at each other like wtf?? |
The suspension on the decks was all messed up. They were bouncing all over the friggen place. One of them broke the other night and was a replacement. The big screw up late in the night was the needle just hopping up and skateing across the record.
I dont think he was all that drunk since Ian and me drank the majority of his vodka.
It was Scott who played Tears From the Moon (Tiestos mix). |

I couldn't stop dancing. The crowd was tough and had really thinned out but Vic had us hard core partiers bouncing off the walls and guzzling h20 like it was going out of style. And, of course, his mixing was _flawless_. Guys, seriously, if you haven't caught one of Vic's sets...make it a point to go. He really is amazing.
|
exactly. I was shocked how good he is when I saw him on 2/15 at Arc. I was dead and my legs and feet were hurting like hell, but just couldn't leave the dancefloor. Super nice guy he is he brought me that set to the Roxy a weel later :) |

I enjoyed Scott Bond's set. Tom, Genny, and my friend Jeff got to Arc right when Bond threw his second track on. Great seein fellow TAs who went-->> Brianna, Daniela, Isaac, John and Michelle, Tom, Ian, Daphna, and Choobak. Leitline (Missy) nice meetin ya.
Ahhhh, love is the only weapon - that made it for me, as far as the night went. Shoulda stayed for that, Daniela! Victor played fantastic trance - was so tired tho from workin overtime yesterday, i left little over an hour into his set - stayed for Rapid Eye - Circa Forever - mainly cause at this point, i probably will never hear it on the phazon again...:( So, Jeff and i left at that point - excellent time. Hope to see u guyz again at Tae's night this Friday! |

omg, last night was my first time at arc.
i had SUCH a good time!!! :D :D :D :D
i got there around 2:30am or 3:00am and didn't stop dancing until 7:30am when my friends wanted to leave. i think victor dinaire was starting to finish up then anyway because he was playing more uplifting stuff and the crowd was really small...but i don't know? what time did he actually stop spinning?
i didn't get to meet any of you because, well, i didn't know what any of you looked like and the music trapped me on the dancefloor the whole time, so there was no time for me to be social and meet anyone.
maybe you guys saw me? i was the short girl wearing army print parachute pants and with all of her hair held up in three big clips.
anyway, i really loved scott bond and victor dinaire was just as good as i remembered... well, no, better. and my friends also really loved the music. :D |

OMG... I can't believe you guys forgot to mention this, it sounded so great on the phazon.
All in all, in my opinion, Bond spun a very decent set, although I think at times his mixes got pretty repeptetive, he was playing the same style of uplifting for about 40 minutes. Towards the end of the night he played harder stuff, which was a nice curveball. I agree with everyone btw, the vibe was nothing special.
I really wanna see a tracklist,
btw anyone know the second track bond played, right after 3rd earth? |

I had a great time last night hanging out with all you. There were so many new ppl I met that, truthfully, I can't remember everyone's name. So if in the future, I ask for a reminder, please don't :whip: me. :p
Trance on Phazon - wow there's nothing like it. I thought Bond did an outstanding job given the circumstances with the turntable. Records jumping was unusual to hear. Very uplifting for most of the set, some was too mellow for my taste, but overall I loved being there.
Def more TAs need to come out and support the trance parties. I would hate to see them leave due to lack of support. :) |
