Compression in Reason 2?

Is it just me or is the compressor in reason 2 rubbish!
Cubase and Logic compressers are far better.
Is there any way i can use an external compressor in Reason? |

Reason compressor ! It sucks...it's probably the worst
compressor I ever had on my pc...:whip:
but you might ask Gil Schwarts...he is also mastering with Reason 2
( and probably the compressor shipped with it )...:gsmile:

I don't even use Reason but I know that the compressor is !
Almost all effects in Reason is ! IMO ofcourse! ;) |

| U said software.. Think I'll stay out of this. Hardware compressors give a lot more warmth. I do know a lot of people that are satisfied with T-racks ,maybe you should buy that proggie. |

Umm... that's not a very bright comment, is it?
I never said you couldn't do great things with it. But, plain and simple, you can't compare the fx in reason to almost any other fx. There's a ton of freeware that absolutely blows the stuff in reason out of the water... |

| I've managed to get the reason compressor working really well. You just need to use the right settings |

Hmmm... I can think of a million examples that showcase how incredibly wrong you are. Here's an easy one to understand. Sasha knows what he's doing... yet you see don't see him mixing on piece of belt-driven geminis. I'm sure he could mix on them... but why would he? |

The fx don't suck.. It's all in the routing of the cables of the different devices:):) NO REALLY! :D:D I think i will be able to post an example sometime, like within a few days, to show you that the fx don't suck! IMO REason2 doesn't suck, but i think i will get Logic or Cakewalk within a few months..check out this thread becasue i will post a routing example soon
