I really appreciate this.
so I drove Ruby to the airport this morning :( and she is on her way back to your guys and gals. (wow, I haven't touched keyboard in so long I have major problems typing!!)
Anyways, last weekend was incredible. While Beyer did not show on Friday night (I was pissed when I saw the sign at the door), they had Samuel L Session sub for him. It was pretty 'good' at first, but the liveact, the Advent, tore stuff up. I miss the good live performances from last summer. It just is soo much fun.
I (we) met some of my friends from my NYE party at the U and there may be some pix in the future (they need to go through censorship first).
Anyway, I will let Ruby elaborate a little more, since I gotta go now.
ps.: I love techno :P |

anyway, it was a reasonably good party, but friday was much better :)

Actually Greg, you look good in the pics that are posted in this thread with Andreas and Caryn. The others....well, i think there was some weird lighting-issue. Unless you have metal in your mouth? Is your tongue pierced?? :toothless |

hello everyone!
i made it home safely, although i DID NOT want to leave...
i had a great time, the parties were great, and overall, it was the best vacation ever, although it was too short.
friday night we went to the u60, i REALLY liked the club/music/crowd/etc...we stayed till about 8:30am. :D as greg mentioned, adam beyer didn't show, but it was still a GREAT night. mmm...techno:thepirate
saturday night we went to MTW to see Paul. his set was superb, although it was too short (2.5 hours). trance seems to draw a bit of a different crowd in germany. i understand why he spins harder there. if he doesn't, most of the crowd will just stand absolutely still in the middle of the dance floor.:whip: if only i had this smiley in my back pocket on saturday and sunday night.;) i think he also jumps around a bit more behind the decks to get the crowd into it, he doesn't have to do that in the states. he just enters the premises and the crowd will go nuts...
sunday night drove 200km in a little over an hour thanks to greg's impressive driving and a little highway called the autobahn to wuppertal to see paul again. fun fun! we got there about 1:30, paul was already on, but i think he came on a little after 1, so we didn't miss much. now this crowd really liked to stand still, but paul got everyone moving towards the end. he ended at 4 with nothing but you...
greg and i posted a somewhat complete tracklisting in the german forums. ahh, it was sooo good to hear the Time track 4 more times this weekend, nu nrg-butterly 2 more times, and all the other great tracks he's been recently playing. i look forward to seeing him again. wmc? if not, def. montreal/toronto. at the party on sunday, the crowd was pretty thin, and i swear he looked at greg and i a bit wierd a few times, he's probably thinking "i see these kids all over the place, don't they have anything better to do?" ;)

overall, an incredible experience, many thanks to greg for making the trip so memorable... |

Maybe he thought he was losing his mind, thinking there's 'no way they would be over here'?
Let's just hope he doesn't put out a restraining order against you.

:D ofcourse he DOES have an impressive set of fans following him around...you North American peeps and then there's JP and me in Europe and let's not forget Helen from OZ...he sees us everywhere he must think we're stalkers
