there was also a track recently that sampled the "i feel love" bassline that had synths just like that, but i forget the name.
give the howells mix a shot though. |

so the sample above is from a new white label that just came out a week or two ago. i just picked it up today. it's called
big thrills - donna does pills
as stated previously it samples the synth line from donna summers "i feel love" and overlays the vocals from green velvet's "la la land". there's also a baptist sermon thrown in during the breakdown.
the plump's "donna kebab" is pretty cool, but different. breaks track. :) |
