it is real. that girl has appeared on loads of anti-drink driving adverts, gone round schools to give talks, etc. very sad :( |

I think that site really hammers the point home. Just don't drink and drive, that's why we have ppl like designated drivers. Why are people so in' stupid? |

i dont drive and i dont drink so problem solved. i dont want to drive either. but i cant drink.
i truly wish people wouldnt do it. but when i go to the beach for the weekend with friends i find myself riding with friends who do it. |

i just couldnt live, knowing i have ed someone's life up like that. that girl - i dunno what to say...i dont think, i think i'd cry.

That totally sux... Sad very sad... and to think that I posted (admited) that I drove home after drinks. That is definitely a sobering (no pun intended) imagery and I definitely would not want to live through an accident, knowing that either that I would look like that or that someone would be subjected to suffering because of my actions. I think it should also be stated that it's not just drinking - it's drugs as well. I've seen sooo many people come out of clubs with eyes the size of tea saucers and get behind the wheel. I hope I don't end up on the same road with them.
My worst nightmare is falling asleep behind the wheel (once again, no pun intended)... I almost crashed at 80MPH once into a bridge because I was dozing off. If it wasn't for pavement grooves that make a noise and shake up the car I would have definitely not been here to tell the story. So, point is:
don't drink, do drugs, not get enough sleep and drive.
Point well taken, sometimes harsh reality needs to be shown... I trully feel sad for the girl and her parents. I cannot imagine what it would be like to loose a loved one in drunk driving acciden or have them live like that.
