This gonna be like 4th TT I'll be attending and I still don't know where the name comes from. What does it mean?:conf:
Wasted_Space
My guess is the tribes is a reference to the two production teams, namely, Future entertainment and Hardware coming together for one biiig party.

I got nothing better than that.
Mikrop
Wasted_Space is correct... AFAIK... That's what it said on one of the flyers... This year will be my 4th Two Tribes anniversary as well...

Two Tribes was also an old Frankie Goes To Hollywood track semi-recently remixed by house god Olav Basoski!
Teknoscaper.
actually the original concept of 2 Tribes was to combine the 2 'Tribes' being Clubbers, and Ravers together at the one event

hence 2 Tribes

How did you figure that? Given that it was originally a Melbourne event, did someone from the Perth scene magically fill you in? I'd back the what the promo flyers from the production companies said, IMO...

I think you might find that Future Entertainment, did clubbing gigs, and Hardware did rave gigs

;)
SQ-K
Or, more accurately, Hardware does techno parties, Future does mostly house, progressive and trance parties. :)

i believe two tribes to represent 1)the djs/artists 2)the punters
