Does anyone have any experience with ordering records at dotvinyl.com ?
I placed 2 orders there a month ago, and they did not arrive yet? I already emailed them but they donīt even react, and their phone is always occupied. Iīm beginning to wonder about wath is happening there.
So everybody be carefull with that shop! |

Sorry you are having such a problem with them and I can't say if they are good or bad, since I never ordered from them, but I can advise you of IMO is THE BEST SITE TO ORDER MIXED AND UNMIXED CDS AND PRETTY MUCH ANY KIND OF GENRE RECORDS, site is updated almost daily, except for Sat and Sun, they are closed, with brand new releases, actually the day they get the shipment of new releases, same day the site is updated, records are inexpensive and lots of special priced sale items and some short period of time clearance sale items. Shipping within US is cheap, most of the time it is under $1.00 per, my first order was 50 records total was $260.00 USD which included shipping charge of $19.70, damn that's less than $0.40cents per record. PLANETXUSA -- BEST ONLINE RECORD STORE
There is a minimun order requirement, US Orders at least $40.00 worth of records from green section alone, International orders at least $100.00 from green section alone. Good Luck, I hope they didn't charge you anything, and if they did, I'd contact your credit card company or your bank immediately.... |

Typical. Dotvinyl ed me out of about 40 dollars. They still haven't even sent my order, and I ordered 5 vinyls about 5 months ago. I tried contacting them everyday and still no reply. I gave up after a couple of months. I even donwloaded the damn instant messenger to IM them, but the ed heads never replied to that either. DOTVINYL. They are the worst record store ever.

| they screwed me over as well. i try foneing them but they are always (and i mean always) engaged. i email them, and i even added them to my IM list. i hav never gotten a reply from them. they cam go em selves the cocks. |

That sounds pretty to me. If i want just one tune i hav to order $100 worth? that.. i'll stick the the real best online stores and they are www.juno.co.uk and www.chemical-records.co.uk ;) and also www.replayrecords.com from time to time.
and while were on the subject of record stores, the ones to avoid are www.htfr.com and www.dmf.com and as this thread indicates, www.dotvinyl.com :) |

Well Mike, let me put it to you this way, Planetxusa.com has database larger than all three of the website you mentioned and they don't charge arm and a leg for shipping, also once you hit planetxusa.com website, you'll see producers names that you never heard before and when you preview their tracks your next action with your computer mouse is to click on add to cart button lol! I just ordered 10 more records from them for total cost of 52.00 USD including shipping, 4 of them are 2003 releases and other 6 are late 2002 releases. and I don't know about you, but I don't shop on internet for one record, not even 4, if I only need a couple of records, I'll run to a local record shop, but if I need 5 or more, I am on planetxusa.com ordering at least double that, 'cause they always have something just as good, if not better, then what I am looking for so I end up buying at least twice as many and still paying less money than if I was to shop at either any local record shop or other internet sites and only getting 4 records or less.... JMO.... |

They might as well be fake, they have no customer service whatsoever and I still have no records. I kind of shrugged it off since I charged it to my credit card, but I don't know what to do since they aren't in the US.
