It's really hard for people like me who are -19 to go to Viva. Luckily there was a shuttle bus for their anniversary or else I would have missed the beginning of Orkidea's set. Does anyone know if there will there be shuttle buses for this event?

There have been a couple cases where other TAs have driven each other to events (without knowing each other in real life)...who knows, I might even drive there for PVD.

they originally had my test scheduled for wed march 5th (big snowstorm day) but i had to cancel cuz my parents both needed their cars that morning. That would have been a DREAM to take a test in...so much traffic, i wouldn't have to parallel park or park period for that matter...f00k

oh well, the life & times of DJRocco

I feel you pain man. My brother is a gino, meh. I'd rather have him listen to his "freestyle/euro" music then come and annoy me at Viva or Guv. Also just because none of your friends are addicted to trance as much as you are doesn't mean you can't make new ones. ;) I'd say half of my friends (3/4) are people who listen to trance and the rest I'm converting.;)

so true...I’d rather hit a party by myself than bring some friends along who aren't into trance. I have tried that before and what happens is I always end up leaving early cuz of them. :whip: :)

Ok 1 question for Temporal Rhythm, April 20th is a Sunday, u booked a DJ on a Sunday night?!?! Either way its still good for me, cause I work Sunday during the day and have monday off.

Duh, April 20th is Easter Sunday. Hence Monday is a holiday for most people. (Plus, PVD was probably significantly less expensive to book for a Sunday than a Friday or Saturday. Think - at Kool Haus, he was on a Wednesday and at Aria in April, he's there on a Thursday. He's probably in the top 5 most expensive DJs in the world.)

I kind of disagree with the friend-bringing statements. I wouldn't want to bring a true "Gino" obviously (by that I mean sweaty, shirtless, punching the air constantly and bashing into everyone around them), because it'd just be downright embarrassing to be seen with them. But there are some people who can still enjoy themselves at a party even if the music is not their style (much like I force myself to enjoy the Kingston clubs even though their music comes in two flavours: -hop and plain ).

Just my two cents though.

I agree. Of the 4 friends that I brought with me for Viva's 1 Year Anniversary, only 1 was actually into trance, and even then, rather mildly so. The other 3 weren't trancers, but still had a good time. If you go with the mind set that you'll have a ty time because the music isn't your type, then you'll most likely have a ty time.
