True at times.
when i was on a cruise to Canada and Alaska, the drinking age on teh boat was 18.
when i was on a cruise thru the carribean the drinking age was 21.
same cruise line.
doesn't make too much sense.
but anyway doesnt matter.
You'll save a load of money if you bring on your own alcohol.
even if i were 21 (which i am according to teh state of NJ)
I would bring on my own alcohol |

Ever since I was 16 i've been bringing rum to the States in my carry-on and no questions have been asked. But that was all before the TSA federal employees took over the checkpoints. Now they might give you trouble, but who knows.

Are you serious? Nowhere in the Caribbean is the drinking age 21. Not even in the US territories of PR and the Virgin Islands. |

PR is losing highway funding for their 18 drinking age, but maybe Bicardi pays the politicians enough so they don't care lol. There shouldn't be a drinking age on int. waters anyways. :stongue:
What are they going to do...call your mommy??:clown: |

| just fill up a water or coke bottle with your vodka or jack d and put it in your hand luggage! they never bother/have time to open peoples bottles and check what they are! then when your on the plane just get smashed :D |

I know, it was absolutly ridiculous.
We were able to drink on the islands that we stoped at (St. Maartin, thats where we bought a load of alcohol for hell cheap, a fifth of Bombay saphire was only 8.50!!!!!, put it all in water bottles and smuggled it onto the boat, it was one hell of an operation :D ).
We weren't able to drink on the boat tho. I didn't get it. When I went on a cruise to Alaska on the same cruise line 2 years previous the drinking age was 18.
oh well, I didnt wanna spend the outrageous amounts of money on their overpriced drinks anyway. we made do with out own alcohol
and yes it's all about the New Jersey lisence :) |
