Does anyone remember the Twilo DJ contest in 2001?
He was one of the honorable mentions, and played there on a Wednesday night for something like 2.5 hours.

He has opened for Oakie in NYC many times.
The first that I remember is Rockefeller Center, May 2001, for the Swordfish screening party, a little of which was shown on MTV.
And then later at World, Estate, Exit.

I was there too!! was lounge night at Twilo, definitely a good party for $5, young crowd, dont think there was anyone there older than 18. Some really good music played by up and coming dj's.

Yup, Glenn B won it, and as the prize, opened for Digweed and Tenaglia at the Twilo 6 Year Anniversary party. I think a monthly residency was supposed to be part of the deal too.
Glenn B also opened for PVD in Columbus, Ohio a few nights before PVD came to NYC.

Eddie played with Spoony D two weeks later, so they weren't among the 5 finalists.

I remember talk of Twilo working on doing a monthly New Talent Night on Wednesdays. And there was to be another DJ contest coming up. But you know what happened.
