hehe cheers you old bloodhounds

some quick points ill go more in depth on later cuz i gotta run

1) no matter bushes reasons the avg american is the one over there and they want to liberate the people, they dont hate iraquis. I believe this is gonna be a great humanitarian effort. (for those who say civilians gonna die...welcome to war, it ing sucks)

2) once peace is established we can LEAVE and take our bases out and hopefully middle east will forget the weve done there.

3) i think (besides britain) that america is one of the last moral nations (again if bush is doing it for another reason, the people make a nation, not the leader; the army is what is going to be there, having to send letters to their moms and dads letting them know they are doing the right thing).

--yeah its pretty hard (well actually its really easy lol) being pro war in seattle. In all of the discussions ive had its the "war is bad and people are going to die" arguments that have nothing to do with war hehe. There was a silent vigil/walkout during class yesterday campuswide and, well i left to smoke the pipe (tobacco) so i have no idea, ill get some numbers today. It was run by a couple of lesbians. Not saying anything of course, but surprising? I dunno.

anyways. go seattle!

Edgar! blast it where is that blody chauffeur? Edgar!!!! (the loud clicks of handmade shoes on marble fade into the distance)

^^ Wow, with arguments as water-tight as that, you could just about apply for your very own segment on Fox "News" champ! ;)

IMO, and it's just an opinion; i feel that war is inevitable and that is why the U.S. is taking action now and not later. If it all is going to come down to war, then why should we wait for civilains, or even american civilians to die? So we can have physical proof of a threat? I feel that this war IS an american interest: we are interested in stopping terrorism and all who condone it. we are interested in protecting our people from potentionally harmful enemies; because terrorism is targeted at our civilians not our military. If this was any other country (excluding the U.K.) and they felt threatened by some fanatic lunatic then they would be crying U.N./U.S. support, cause no one has the balls to stand up for themselves on that side of the planet. so they call for U.S. the "rent-a-cop" to come help and then they hate us for helping....I think they resent us cause they feel embarrased they can't help themselves...

As for N.Korea; the fact they are flaunting the ability to use a bomb makes their leaders the planets biggest idiot. Any one can use a bomb, it takes a strong and determined country to sit down and work their problems out with the rest of the world. People need to learn that weapons are not barganing chips to dealing with world..... weapons only bring war wether you use them or not......people feel threatened when they hear of weapons, and because of our past (as a global nation) we act upon being threatened. If countries need help all they need to do is ask, and all the u.s. asks is to comply with U.S./international regulations.... no stealing, no starving people to death, no torturing people, no shooting people in the street, no mass murdering, stuff like that..... is that too much to ask when we americans pay out our pocket to help other nations for free?

as oreilly says ..."Where am I wrong?"

plus, i think its funny that other countries are saying its bad when you know theyd do the exact same thing if they had the power...people go figure wot?

Curious as to what the sentiment is in other places in america. My home town is all for it (avg income 110 k a year, why are republicans always so rich? hehe) but the other places seem more vocal...actually i dunno most people i know who are pro war dont even talk about it because i get the feeling like "eh, its gonna happen why talk about it"

whats up in your hoods? :)

Where are you wrong?

well, how bout this for a start:

2) once peace is established we can LEAVE and take our bases out and hopefully middle east will forget the weve done there.

that will never happen. the entire middle east will be outraged for generations to come if this war occurs. In fact they already are, this is why september 11th happened.

so #1

their anger is pure conjecture. my conjecture says that a stable democracy will establish them a place in the global economy plus they will have the US as an ally. #2 if they already are pissed, em :)

So if they were pissed at us pre-september 11th when we weren't invading anybody, and they'll be even more pissed at us if we do invade ... doesn't that leave us in a catch 22? If anything I say invade to give them a good reason to be pissed at us haha.

Is there any more cognac?
