| good call jf, forgot about them. their commercial stuff is huge. I was just thinking more in terms of club wise, like dj/producers or music that djs (proper djs)would play, otherwise someone like MJ is the all time greatest producer. |

Daft Punk have a special place in my book! I love what they do!
These guys brought electronic to the masses with their cool video clips and accessible music! You all remember that crazy clip where the main character is a dog? hehe I was hooked on it! |

| i agree with malek and biggy. daft punk does some good stuff. same with fatboy slim and even basement jaxx. :P and alec, for what i hear. BT said that oakenfold doesnt do any tunes. he has two producers who make them for him. |

Correct, but he hasn't started doing prog/trance until now (correct me if I'm wrong). I heard one of his albums in like 97/98 and it was all pretty experimental 180bpm style =) |
