Wath is your opignon about behringer ?
and do you know if behringer is owned by huge compagny ? ( like Technics is owned by Panasonic?)
I suppose they are owned by pionneer , a friend of me work at an audio store and they order the behringer product and pioneer at the same place ...
and with the new "copy" of the DJ-600... I have more doubt ....

I've heard they are a good trustworthy German brand, that make good studio mixers. Recently they have branched out to making DJ mixers.
I recently bought one called VMX 300. AWESOME!! |

| The VMX300 does indeed rule, especially for it's price |

Behringer make a lot of Studio equipment. FX, mixing desks, etc. Their entry into the dj mixer market was terrible. I was unfortunate enough to be one of the poor saps who purchased a Behringer mixer, the DX-500. The on-board sampler was useless, the eq's did nothing and to top it off, the thing blead. You could have the cross fader all the way to channel 3, volume faders for channel 2 all the way down and the line selector for channel 2 set to "line in" and you could still hear the turntable playing on channel 2.
Safe-to-say, they don't sell these anymore. Although I have only heard good things about their newer mixers, so I take it they have gotten their act together. They seem like very affordable pieces of equipment. |

I just ordered the DX-1000. I am anxiously awaiting its arrival. I can give it a review, if you like. From what I've read, most people are thrilled with this brand :-)

There was a lot of confusion just some time ago .... i was deciding on getting the vmx300 .. but i couldnt , beringher singapore does not have any more stock and they will be needed 2 damn months for it to come .. so ridiculous
anyway i managed to get their new mixer .. djx 626 ... its not bad .. only the channel faders are not as stable as vmx300 or 200 .... i think i am going to be happy with my djx626 .. its quite nice i must say .. not much complains |
