Changing Bitrate of Mp3s

| I was wondering what a good progam would be to change teh bitrate of an Mp3. I tried using the stuff ont he site but it didnt work for me. If anyone could let me know what they use that would be great.:tongue3 Thanks |

| Lame encoder is the best one i know of, can easily use the program :D |

| Why would you change bitrate of your mp3s? From higher to lower sucks because you ruin sound quality and from lower to higher... you should never ever do that |

| well if you're putting it on a webpage as background music, you need to lower the bitrate because people can't easily stream 192kbs. |
