is the Cubase Operations manual. This thing is massive. I got some reading to do hehehehe. anyone who doesn't have cubase you better get it because this is how music is made pure and simple. if you read this bad boy and can't make music, find something else to do.

Regarding the SX/SL manual, I bought Cubase SL right after Christmas and only got the .pdf manual. Was there supposed to be an actual copy of the manual inside the package, because I didn't get one? I just assumed they were only shipping the electronic manual. The main reason I don't read much of the manual is because I have to sit at my computer to read it. That is a jip, three hundred big ones and no manual.

i can try hehehe. ok well first off, cubase is a sequencer. reason 2 is a little different because it has kinda an all round studio thing going on were as cubase is mostly a sequencer and relies on other software or hardware as you mentioned to complete a studio..you can't really make music with just cubase, well i guess you could but... anyway, the difference between cubase and programs like reason and fruity loops is the amount of power in the program. now of course this is constantly argued here in the forums but i don't know thats just my personal oppinion. so to answer your question...no you probably wouldn't need cubase after using reason and no it isn't only for hardware although it is great for that.

So what actually you do in cubase if we probably don't need cubase after using reason .. ? it's a sequencer but what extra things it offer ? gives effects etc. to songs we made ? .. or what ?..
