This man has real skills on the decks. Of that there's no doubt. His ability to blend different genere's is simply sublime. If anyone hasn't heard his essential mix i suggest downloading it right now. Along with Parks & Wilson this is my pick for best EM of 2002 (I even love his intro ! ).
Some have already compared him to Sasha (which is a little unfair in my opinion ) but having heard his work ( not only his sets but his remixes as well ) I can see why comparisons have been made. A real talent, this man called James Zebiela.
The future of electronic music is looking very bright with men like Zebiela leading the way. |

"The reason I did "4" was firstly just for fun & to give out to people who come & support me when I play but also because it would've been hard to convey all those styles on just one CD so "4" was born." -james |

The first cd is the best one to me,
cd2 & cd3 are not my style, I didn't like these ones that much.
Maybe I get into them later.

| Ok james zabiela is 23, these tunes arent all that rare you can find most of them on juno....and hmm he worked in a dj store as a teenage which his father owned...then he won some dj comp last year and now hes big ....i think the reason none of you have heard these artist is cuzz most of you dont listen to tech-house and a majority of the records he spins are tech-house or breaks.... |

Calling him the next Sasha is ing stupid. Both of them as DJ's have mad skills and are amazing, but he won't be the next Sasha, nor will he be the next Digweed, or Warren. He is and will be James Zabiela. Sasha (and Digweed for that matter) has such a legacy behind him that no DJ will match any time soon simply because of how the scene has changed over the last decade.
Does that mean Zabiela sucks tho? Hell no! The guy has serious talent and his use of CD-decks is outstanding...but jeez, saying he's the next whoever is just dumb. |
