Hi !
In few months i'm moving to sweden (i'm half swedish :D)
Anyways, i was curious how old you have to be to get a drivers license in sweden (i think its 18, yes?)
here in iceland where i live, you can get the license when you're 17 years old... and does it mean i won't be able to drive until i get 18 years in sweden, even if i have the license to drive??
I would also like to know how the internet is over there.
Here in Reykjavík it really sucks, because you have to pay 2.5 IS Kronor for each MB you download from outer .IS as soon as you reach your download quota wich is 500 MB
I have no doubts that all swedes like trance!! :D (oh well i hope I meet many trance liking people ;))

You have to be 18 to get license and to drive a car in sweden...
You wont meet to many tranceloving people here... Only if you hang out with us from the forum ;)
The internet is ok. You get 0,5 MB for about 30 dollars a month... its ok compared to other countries....
some lycky bastards over here get 10 MB for about the same price...but i dont like them... |

Inernet i have in mind doesn't have to be really fast, I have DSL connection 256k download and 128k upload, and its good enough for me, only thing that bothers me is how much i pay for downloading more than 500mb outer .IS
and can you give me the currency in swedish kronors? i know how much icelandic that is.. i'm not as familiar with the US $$ :D
PS: I forgot to mention that I was moving down to Malmö, maybe something different there?

| malmö thats faaar down :) well the DSL connection (512 kbps both ways) costs about 350 SEK :) |

I think its a good price, and there are no outer .SE limits in sweden?

And yes, Malmö is south and i wanna be as south as i can (only in scandinavia) and its cheaper to live in sweden than in denmark. Actually its a good location since i know many people in denmark and its not far away :)
once again, thanks for info..... and do you know if there exists some kind of a swedish - english computer dictionary that i might get my hands on... I have to learn this language, hehe :)

I´m sooo proud of my 10Mbit connection I just had to mention it... only pay like €32 a month for it....
Malmö is a really great town, as a Swede I can bearly understand them, for me their accent is like if you would have a hot potatoe in your mouth, something like that.
Going there next weekend to see Nic Chagall from Cosmic Gate play at Deep Club.
btw. far from all Swedes like trance... only a few exellent people, some of us are here :gsmile:

I've not heard the Malmö accent, but i've heard about it, and i've got told exactly the same thing with the 'potatis' :) in the throat..
some danish people been infecting the Malmö swedes maybe?
danish people talk like they are straining on the toilet or something :stongue: (J/K!)
I think the DSL 512/512 is pretty nice for 350 SEK (3159 IS kr)
I don't need a fast speed like 10MB (I only view the TA boards and download from EMC and sometimes read email)

well I must say that malmö is a good choice since you have a very short way to gorgeous from there and there many of the bigger djs tend to play all the time :)
but get ready to face lot's of poppeople in sweden....there's not many trancers at all if you compare to all the metal andm poppeople :nervous: |
