1. How many samples, on average, do you use in each song? (That includes everything, from drums to synths to effects.)

2. How long, on average, does it take you to produce a track, from start to finish?

If I think of any more questions I'll add them later :D
Feel free to add your own stat questions like these.

My answers to these two questions are:
1. 12-15
2. 3 intensive days
Mr.Mystery
1) No idea whatsoever, and there's no way in hell I will count either... but maybe something like 20-50 (if you count all the different perc samples)... maybe even more.

2) From two days to two weeks. Depends on the track.
Haak
1) Most I've used is around 60 I think (Soft Touch)

2) From 1 week to 2 months (I'm slow)
brash
1. 0 - 5
2. At least a week. Up to several months.

I've only been producing for 7 months or so, though.
Etherium
1.Same as above, about 5, just the percussion
2.Never completed a song.

1 - Never less than 15 for simple percussion, for more complex ones, 20 or 30 (not counting duplicated instances of the same synth/perc)

2 - Depends much on the track. From two weeks to two months... depends on how much time i spend experimenting till i find the right sounds.

3 - My all time FX are reeverb/delay for almost everything, flanges and/or phasings for pads or leads, sometimes distortion too. Eq and compression for the individual sounds aways.

4 - Yes, i master my sounds, and im finnaly beggining to get a good hang of it.

1. that varies man.. sometimes a lot, sometimes only few!
2. varies aswell.. sometimes i`m finished within 2 days, sometimes it can take months..
TranceInMySoul
Hmmmm, difficult...

1) Dunno, some perc samples, maybe 5-10. I use some synths though, which I haven't included.

2) Months. Or even over a year. I don't finish much. And it normally involves getting bored and doing plenty of stuff inbetween. I don't spend much time on music either.
