I guess I have had some bad experiences there, involving not much fun so I have a hard time convincing myself to go back and pay the cover. How much is it for regular nights because everytime I have been there it has been at least $20. The Guvernment does not even charge that. Maybe it is because they have more customers?

I dunno and I don't think people in Ottawa would be able to tell the difference. Well not most anyway. I'll bet they would enjoy trance much more. Have I convinced you yet ??? :stongue:

Mike DJ's as well so if you need some local talent ;)

You hit the button on the nose.

Most people in ottawa hate trance and they do know the difference. Ottawa has always been a progressive city. With copeland and graham leading the way. While it was nice to see some trance fans out for flemming, I think they are the minority. I am not the biggest trance fan out there but a little variety is always nice. What about bringing in that S4 dude.. hes a pretty good local isnt he? In anycase I like surface just fine. Just too bad it's ottawa and ist better supported. Could use a little better ventilation system in the main room too.

Man, everyone I know that listens to electronic music loves trance. they love the old oakenfold type stuff (1998) and PVD and old tiesto. I think there are trance fans out there, just no venue for them

joe, we have the most powerful nightclub ventilation system in the city!

we COULD make it super cold but we like to have it nice and toasty sometimes.. heat always brings vibe to a party.. in my opinion!

I work at silver city and one of the 89.9 guys was there, so I asked "hey, are there gonna be any nice electronic music shows anytime soon?" and he said "yah we do an oakie show every sunday from 10-1". I asked "do u have any live trance/prog djs around, and do u need any?" and he said "ahhh...trance and progressive isnt that big around here..I'm doing a house show but thats about it."

...house...pff..

Yeah you are probably right Joe. I mean you do know your city/party scene much more than I do. I enjoy progressive as well but I am not sure that is what I heard the times I was there. I don't think I have heard Copeland (I have heard good things about him as well) and I love Graham. I think I have heard S4 as well and he is good.

I didn't really expect to hear anything different than I already know but I thought I would give it a shot.

Prog sux --Ferry said so himself :P
