98.1 at work all day - everyday.
Believe me, you can never hear too much Rod Stewart, Brian Adams, Celine Dione, Air Supply, Faith Hill, Shania Twain, Phil Collins.
Somebody kill me quick. |

| that station plays the same songs every single day. I used to hear it every morning on my way to school. Then I got smart and brought my own music to listen to :toothless |

| Thank God I never had to listen to that stuff. My first job was a retail one and it was when I first got into trance...I practically got most of the people working there into it (except those who were already trance heads). It was funny stuff.;) |

That's a fantastic analogy! I felt the same way today when the 'dj' dropped the Beatles' Something in the Way...
ALCCODE: Can't change the station unfortunately, and the music is coming out through all the phones so there's no escaping. Can't even bring my own music to work, cause I'm always on the phone.
The worst part is, I'm hearing all the same songs that 98.1 was playing three years ago when I had a horrible office summer job.
"Don't wanna be flabby anymore...I don't want to be a fat guy.
Hey Look at me - I'm a pear.
Blubbery Rubbery outta shape dude." |

LOL!! poor man.. this is TORTURE!! :toothless
i remember when 98.1 used to be played in my house. i found it so depressing!! thank god it's been changed to classical. at least that's bearable, if not annoying listening to all the time.
to tell you the truth, when i'm concerned, i never turn on the radio at home at all! it's all a complete waste and garbage to listen to. if i want music, i just spin on my decks or listen to some mp3's. trance, of course. :D
but, if you're forced to listen to crap at work, all i can say is bear it...and make fun of it, so as to make the bearing all the easier! :thepirate |

Meh... whenever I get a ride from my dad I'm forced to listen to that garbage. Someone else said it already, but I'll reiterate, not only do they play depressing songs from depressing artists but they play the exact same songs every single day!
I swear to god, they don't even have a radio DJ, they just have a Winamp playlist on infinite loop... |
