Ok, where to start...
1) When i was 14 i went blue from choking on a bit of meat, had to have the heimlick (Sp?) manovuer done on me.
2) Electrocuted myself about a year ago, same thing as already said, lamp left on without a bulb, put my hand in to see if there was a bulb and there wasn't. 230v and a slightly blue arm.
3) In Spain when i was 14 i was swimming in the sea and got hit by a drunk german bloke in a motor boat who didnt see me, got stuck underneath for bout 10 seconds with the motor blades hitting me on the back and head, spent 4 hours in ER and ended up with a permament mark by my kidney....but i got to keep the x-rays :D
4 + 5) At work yesterday using a pump in a tank full of water, i had dripping wet hands and turned on the plug at the socket... :eyespop: ....230v in my left arm, threw me back a little, then noticed the pump was still on and water was going all over the floor, so with my left arm num i turned off the plug with my right hand...guess what :eyespop: :( another 230v shock with a wet arm |

i actually got electrocuted again whilst decorating a mere few days after this thread died :haha:
i was papering a cileing, and for some reason the light fitting in the cieling had a junction for about 10 wires, instead of 2. this means it was in part of the main circut and cudnt be cut off the at the light switch.
and no i cudnt be arsed to walk down 3 flights of stairs to turn off the mains. |
