I was there for Tiesto@Plastic a few years ago, first time I had heard a big international, and god the place was soo packed! Best night of my life up to that stage!
Was anyone else there that night? |

Nah, that's fair enough. I remember (amazing in itself) you telling me that he was too 'cheesy' for you. Fair enough, Armin does go for non-stop uplifting tunes and big breakdowns. Me, that's how I like my trance. That's why I loved Tiesto's 1997-2000 stuff, and his recent sets aren't quite turning my crank. Each to his own.

yep i was there..
I had just finished my HSC and my mates and i went because it was the first special event after our exams.
We hadnt really heard of him b4 and had no expectations but from his 1st track we were all blown away.
Not much has come close to that night since!!! |

best set ive ever seen in my life!!
opened with aria-dido (armin remix) and it set the tone for the next 3 hours....pure bliss:cool:
hes never dissapointed me when ive seen him live...why is everyone so in critical for???
his sets have not really changed from 2000 even though people think they have...hes always had a techno influence in his sets and even prog influences...
i think its just a case of people not having a clue!!!! |

tiesto absolutely rocked gold coast 2tribes last year
easily one of the best sets i've ever witnessed/heard
would have been flawless mixing (yes i know the difference between actual mixing and just being a fanboy) except for when some random chick jumped around on the stage near the decks and made em skip.
he was not impressed!
all the haters are just UK rejects who are spoilt by one international festival every weekend of the year, not to mention they're pommies which explains everything really :D |
