I am using Fruity and FM7, a pluggable (VST) synth.
What are some other good ones, with good lead synths and other sounds?
FM7 is way too complicated for me, and also there's not a lot of Trance sounds.
Thanks |

Vaz2010!
It's awsome for those fat shokk-a-like tranceleads and u can make awsome basses with it!
It's also easy to use, it's not that complicated.
Check it out!

| S.H.O.K.K.-like trance leads? Jeeeeeeeeez. Those guys are incredible! I love their music, and one of these days, I would like to make a song with their style. I gotta Buy the program one of these days. Too busy making my own synths in 'fruity' with the built in programs. LoL, it's hell, but it's fun when you make something that sounds cool. -Mental |

| About a month ago there was a gargantuan thread on the subject of the best softsynths. I suggest checking out that thread. |

thank you!
NOTE: I didn't see "galatix", "Synth 1", or "Triangle" in that list...
And what's the diff between 'modular' and 'non-modular' synths? |

if you find FM7 complicated i would stay away from the modular synths. although they do have more control. |
