What sample CDs do you guys use?

| I was wondering if anybody could recommend any sample CDs that might be useful for producing trance style music? I'm particularly interested in CDs which have high quality phatt percussion sounds. |

| I would suggest Dance Mega Drums 2 from East West for percussion. Beyond that, for percussion, short of buying a 909, I don't know. Anyone else have any great percussion CDs they recommend? |

| If you want to deal with the SampleTank VSTi engine, you might give it a look. The Sampletank L package comes with a few nice perc sets for not a lot of money. The Trance Grid sampletank library has some great percussion sounds (though I personally found its lead/bass samples a bit thin). |

Ilio, here, makes a CD called Trancefusion. The entire CD is swells and sweeps for trance. I haven't had a listen, but if it's by ILIO, it must be good. |
