Unknown Congo drum track? Please help me!!!

| I heard this track in all the clubs last year during the early summer though it may be older than that. It has no vocals in it that I know of. It basically consists of a bongo drum or something like it going to a sick base beat. The base cuts out at a few points of the song with just the bongo type drums ripping it up then the base cuts back in with it. Definately a floor filler, and with how main stream it was I am mad at myself that I can't find it. Please post me some music if you think the song fits the description or give me some names of tracks you think it might be. Thanks. |

When i first read your post, i thought we were talking about the same track, I mean all the clues seem right:
0-played every satnight for 6weeks straight at first.. from may to august around 1am then 2am then 3am and finally untill it dissappeared
1-early summer and could be older than that
2-congo drums with breaks, and hard bang to it
3-bigtime floor filler
4-no vocals
And I hate my self for not getting that tracks name right.... I asked the Dj that night, (it was like 3am) i could not remember if he told me "revelation" "redemption" "ressurection" some thing like that, I do remember arguing with him about ressurection, but i searched the whole world and all i found was "ppk-ressurection" oh well, I wont stop searching untill i find that song. If u can get in contact with me, then maybe i'll help you find that song, since we could be talking about the same track, infact..
