haha. that guys is whack! soooo rude:stongue: :stongue:

and the girl is hella dumb. she cant answer Mohammed's question cos she don't really know why she stands for what she does stand. then she *giggles*, yes she IS a joke, being the spokesperson for such an organization, and cant even defend her stance...WOW!

lets pose the same question to all of the other Anti-war protesters and see what they'd answer;)

damn straight

EXACTLY!!!! i've talked to a few ppl against the war - they have no idea what is going on. they have no idea Saddam executes people whenever he feels threathened. i've known this for years now tho. he even killed family members. guys is a ing whackjob. down with Saddam.

Although the guy was pretty rude and kept interrupting her, since she's the representative of an organization, she should have been more capable on defending her case. Besides, her reason for being against the war is imo not that relevant. Collateral damage is the least important reason why the war should or shouldn't be fought, although most anti-war protesters don't see that. Modern weapons are precise enough that collateral damage will be minimal. I myself am against the war for three reasons. First reason is the idea of a preventive war, in which a stronger country attacks a weaker one, because the weaker one might in the future attack a stronger one. That idea is especially dangerous since there has been no hard evidence of Iraq posing a threat to the US. Second reason is that I'm not sure whether the US is willing to invest into Iraq after the war to turn the country into a stable democracy. It's the most secular middle eastern state, and the situation is such only because Saddam wants it so. Imo, Iraq has the most potential to become a free democratic country out of all the middle eastern countries because it has the least restrictive religious traditions. It would be sad if the US would just let Iraq deal on its own and let an islamic government get the power. Third reason is that there still is no agreement in the UN on suport for this war. And since the US blocked UN resolutions so many times, it should at least listen to and consider the opinion of that organization.

Why is the US suddenly caring so much for the Iraqi people....they are certainly not the most oppresed people in this world. How come Mugabe isnt being attacked... becuase he doesnt control the second largest oil deposit on earth... thats why. It pretty funny how the US didnt care for the Iraqi people whence he came to power in the 70's becuase he was their great oil trading partner. They even supplied him with the chemical weapons he utilized against the Kurds and helped him in attacking Iran. Then after his attempt to control the oil in Kuwait... the US decided he was to be their "new" enemy.

I certainly think that Saddam is not the best person and should have been removed when he began slaughtering his own people when he came into power...espescially when he gassed his own people.

I htink that Sadddam can be removed without a war... maybe a special international covert operation would do the job if he didnt step down.

And after they remove Saddam.. i think the world should remove Bush and Ariel Sharon. They are just as disgusting as Saddam

gosh, after hearing all these comments of yours, i'm starting to believe you have SOMETHING PERSONAL against Bush, and Sharon. Your non-backed-up statements don't support your views....maybe some religious reasons??? dunno. just some thoughts and ovservations on my part.

how about we remove Arafat? have you thought of that? wait, one might conclude that you might support Arafat's cause. is that so?

King :disbelief if you ask me

LOOOOOOOOOL

You guys make me laugh. "he's Canadian"....LOL.... nice way to validate your point... you should stereotype all the time.. its really a good way to explain your position.

I think Saddam... like Sharon and Bush are killers. With Sharon there was the Sabra and Shatila massacre... with Bush... continous carpet bombing of afghanistan (which is still killing many people)... not to mention his further enforcement of santions on Iraq.... as well as the few hundred thousand... or should i say millions of Iraqi's that will die under his inevitable oil thirsty campaign in the comming month.

Do you actually think that I should believe that Bush is a good, honest and moral man? A man whose father was the head of the CIA during the Vietnam war?

:haha: :haha: :haha: :haha:

No matter who's on the stand in our government, someone will always dislike him and not approve of his actions. Thats fine, but to compare the man to saddam, is just plain pathetic. You sound more like that peace spokesperson than anyone. I think its time you maybe answer the same question that our friend Mohammed was asking.

Apparently you know exactly why we're going to war, and you also believe bush is willing to kill thousands of people just for our countries financial wealth, so whats your solution? Is Canada going to sit there and continue despising and poking fun of our politics or are they actually going to get off their non-productive ass and actually make a difference in this world, whether it be good or bad?

If you're going to criticize and say such comments, back it up. The problem here is you come a country that has basically sat on the side lines for the past 100 years. You guys have no concept what so ever of war, politics, and other issues that in a strange way have actually made the world what it is today. I'm not saying war is the solution, but you guys got some guts critizing politics in our country, when you're sittin in a country that has solely survived off everyone elses political and economic success, and I'm not just talking about the US.

Canada reminds me of a fat kid on a basketball team going to the finals. Everyone knows the fat kid didn't take them to the finals, and no one on the team is going to listen to the fat kid when he starts tellin the players how to play.

lol I'm ready for the flames, bring it. I could careless

lol, the only thing is that the fat kid did make a difference, about 55 years ago or so.

This sounds sooooo fake. A radio host like that wouldn't have his job for very long.

It's pretty funny though, and there are some interesting points raised. It sounds pro-war to me, but it was most probably made as a joke.

BLAME CANADA...BLAME CANADA.. BOO HOO

Its so funny when i criticize the US... the americans on this board are quick to try and insult my nation.... so pathetic...
Listen to me.. i dont care what anyone thinks about Canada....you can bring up analogies about fat kids in basketball courts... but im talking about the US and the that your monkey president is causing in this world. For gods sake.. open your ing eyes and see what is happening... The US has gone so far as to basically tell the world they dont give a about what they think and that they will attack Iraq for their own manevolent reasons.

Im sorry that we dont have the bloodthirsty attitude your government does....and Please tell me one time in history that the US has defended Canada from a threat..... THERE ARE NO THREATS..... as close as we may be to your nation... we dont have the terror threats and Anti-canadian sentiment that your nation has is so obvioulsy drenched in. Maybe you should analyze why so many people dislike your nation around the world.Compare that to Canada. Yet you go on and shout that we "sit on our asses"...im sorry our govenrment hasnt gotten off their ass to kill innocent civilians in this world... grow up and learn you facts straight.
HAHAH.... i havent even seen you on the political forum.
SportTrance
Alright, well now you completely sound like the female in the recording. Listen to yourself. "im sorry our govenrment hasnt gotten off their ass to kill innocent civilians in this world" You're completely ignorant on this entire situation. That is possibly one of the most shallow, ignorant, mindless phrases I've seen yet.

Pick up a history book. Look into communism and genocide. If you had for brains you'd realize, comparing bush with saddam, is an extremely ridiculous stretch. I can assure you, if all goverments of nations thought the same way you did, we would have disappeared a loooong time ago. Yet somehow, we still play an EXTREMELY major role in politics and economics, so we're doing something right. But anyway, unfortunately your politicians don't think we're as useless as you do, economically speaking etc. So, I guess all you can do is keep whining.

Continue.
