My God this looks so awesome. I d/loaded a trailer from Nintendo's website and the game looks absolutely stunning. I wish I had gotten a GCN instead of 2 XBOXs.
Oh welpz, in a couple of years I'll just buy somebody's GCN and games collection second hand. A good game will always remain a good game.

Ooh but I can't stop drooling. I love robots.

why would you get 2 xboxes? why not one of each? nintendo always makes amazing stuff, and the GC isnt that expensive|

Cause I got them at a cheap price & I was thinking of the link-up capabilities. GCN wasn't released till half a year later. Yeah this is the first time I've strayed away from Nintendo since the Megadrive. Never again. I've got quite a few games already, the best being Splinter Cell, but I don't get addicted to playing them like I do Nintendo games.

Yeah Metroid Prime. Samus looks mad.

dude, you don't have the slightest idea of how good Metroid Prime is :p As long as u you get used to the controls, then you're gonna love this game. It's so in amazing...most atmospheric game I've played.

I couldn't agree more with infinity high. Metroid Prime is a masterpiece, a perfect 10. Personally, I call the game cube the Primecube because honestly if Metroid Prime were the only game in existence for the system it would still be worth your money to buy it.

I definitely have to get it then.

I was wondering as well though if PAL versions of the game run 17% slower than NTSC versions?

In the SNES days, I took the effort in finding an NTSC machine simply so I could play Street Fighter 2 in its proper speed - the PAL version was sluggish.

I wonder if Nintendo made any speed concessions with the PAL release of GCN ?

Should I buy an imported US machine and game?

Argh!!! Must get Metroid Prime. Hehehe.

They have instructions on how to play imports on your GC so check out google they have a lot of info there. I saw one but I forgot the site.
