How do you make those robot sounds like the enemy in Battlestar Galactica? Or is it Buck Rogers?
They sound vocoded, but the voices are still clear and understandable.
Thanks in advance. |

| If you use a vocoder, just lower the carrier signal and raise the input (talking) signal so that the words become a lot more clearer. |

| You can also experiment with very short delay times (1ms - 50ms) for some strange metallic robot type effects. |

| Try vocoding like cheggy suggested, and then add a static flanger (one with the LFO off) the adjust the delay and sample depth of the flanger to suit your robotic needs. |
