Every other country calls crisps chips, why do you guys hafta be different, I got so many ppl confused when I first got over here, and I think crisps sound stupid (but when in Rome...)
Back in SA we called both chips and crisps 'chips' and it's very easy to contextualise which we mean. :p
I do agree that calling em fries sucks big time tho :D |

During my work part time in a fish and chip shop i have become very annoyed with people calling them 'fries'.
Good fact: 'chips' are thicker cut than 'fries' and therefore have significantly less fat content.
Chips are better anyday :) |
