Arc was packed & Picotto was good. Myself, John, Alex, Genny & Bobby all carpooled into the city, and got inside Arc at around 2. Christian Smith was incredible. He got the place all pumped up for Picotto. Picotto came on at around 3. He set was ok. I thought it was much better that his previous set at Arc, but nothing to brag about. It was on and off. High Energy Tech and then slow crappy tech. The last Techno set I was at, was Picotto back in October. I actually enjoyed hearing something other than Trance for once. We all left at around 6, and Picotto was still on.
I can't ID anything Picotto played, except Dark Room. I knew Dark Room :tongue2
Matt, you suck  Where were you??? |

I had a good night. Christian smith was literally amazing. He built the energy perfectly for Piccoto's set. Mauro played HARD last night. He played so hard that we even heard one or two hard trance songs around 5am. Arc had a good turnout for this party (even though there weren't many ta's). I thought that he played to hard in the beginning. Before he went on I talked to him for a min or two. I asked him if he could play back to Cali and he said that it wasn't his sound anymore. He told me that he is not a techno dj or trance, house dj either. He makes his own sound . His set started to really get awesome 3 hours in at 6 but I was floored so we got going.
I requested another song. Coldplay clocks and he played it . It was a slower remix then the Marco V one. My friend said that it was the Piccoto edit>?
Now its time to prepare for my first flight ever |

It was awesome, Christian Smith's set was a good start for the night. Mauro Picotto was great, but I didn't know any of the songs :( and in my opinion it was too "technoish". Great show though :gsmile:
Anyone coming to the Avalon show next week? |

| i thought he picotto was great...anyone know the name of the song he was playing around 5:30, 5:45ish it was a slower song with that played the same beat over and over...he was basically orchestrating the crowd then it bomped into the sickness and everyone went nuts |

WHAT A NIGHT!!!!! Mauro wasted no time and started his set with some hard banging tunes. At 4am he dropped it down a notch to a mellow tune, which is good in my opinion. (My legs needed a break. lolol) At 530am he started banging out the hard tunes again. The funniest was when Mauro pull the cord above his head and broke it!!!
The highlight of the night for me was at the beginning when I handed Mauro my shirt and he signed it. The guy knows how to take care of his fans.
Heheheh I was walking around with the autographed Mauro shirt. |
