one time I was in line to buy something at Canadian Tire and this short chubby kid was buying glowsticks. I asked him if he partied and he said:
"i'm the biggest gino in the world!!! I'm going to Palzzo tonight and I am going to win a glowsticking competition."
so I guess it's safe to say that the gino community has 'reclaimed' the term.

Been to the first two P's. Not sure about the last one. Hm...I think I'll stop with the experiments and stick to studying and Pvd @ April 20th! ...Without an ID, a 17 yr like my self can't do much nowadays. Afterall, ALL Age clubs play Mainstream, otherwise, they'll be out of business. In addition, I get rides off my friends. Where ever they go, I go. No worries, in less than a month, I'll have a car. Wheee...ahem...anyways, this was WHY I should be forgiven for going to Palazzo. Sorry for the long post |

Only ones I've been to have been Palazzo (once a year ago and then one time before that) and then Paparazzi as it is close to my house and went once for some all ages GARBAGE party (I was bored and would have rather gone out than stayed @ Home). |

Hey, Thanks there. I never knew. Gotta save up some cash for now. PvD $35+tax + GU024 $25? + Driving Exam test $100 = more cash than I have in my bank account. Its WORK WoRK work for me now. (ggrrr...that ty palazzo stole $20...bastards.)
I'm currious tho. How are they making money tho? Afterall, Alcahol is the biggest money maker for clubs. That's what I assume.
btw, anybody works at the club? I'm currious how much Djs ,bartenders, bouncers etc. making. Eh, yeah I know, yet another business student. With all the bouncers, how profitable are the clubs? hm...maybe I should make it a whole new thread. Hm...I probobly will. |

I know a few guys (well Ginos) in school who talk about glowsticking like its something realllly cool. I'm not against them cuz I use glowsticks/photons myself at parties but I don't go around talking about them in class or at bus stops etc. :D
the funniest part is that these guys use glowsticks during Pub Nights.:D A few weeks ago one of them was telling me how the dj played only one euro track the entire night he was in the pub.. plus how some guy tried to start a fight with him cuz he was using glowsticks. ahahahahaha:stongue: |

there is a licensed drinking area for the 19+
I have to admit I've been to the 2'Ps a few times myself and I used to have a good time :D. but again that was wayyyyy back when I just started out clubbing. |

I'm not against em either but if I try and use them I suck ass. I should get a little practice in me first...:p. I prefer dancing my own way though. |

I know people who like euro/freestyle that aren't ginos.
I know people that know very little about trance, and like it, but aren't ginos.
Since i fit into 2 of these four catagories, am I a gino? I don't think I am..
Even if i was.. why is there so much hatred towards them? Not many of us on this board are ravers. I think it would be safer to say that most of us are "clubbers". And aren't >90% of the clubbers who listen to trance, in fact ginos? :conf: |
