I own it and love it.

I know people say that I bought it cause of Tiesto. But the truth is that I bought it before I even knew he had one.

I remember the day I bought it like it was yesterday. I went to the store and I was determined to get the demo which I knew was cheaper than a brand new one. But go figure....Dj George Acosta came in exactly 1 hour before I did and bought it for himself. I was devastated. I practically begged to get an open box cause I couldn't afford a new one. So the manager of the store called up Stanton and had them ship the one from the Ultra party. JACKPOT!!!

Anyway back to the mixer. I like the thing. It sounds better than any other DJ mixer with the exeption of the Urei and Bozak. It's a totally different animal. Not like anything else out.

Effect take time to learn and filters some time to master. I like to put a reverb on the master and flip the filters and slam it home with the trigger. But that's just me.

I would watch out with the gains. They are sensitive and give yourself some overhead to mess with the effects.

I can't really compare the feel of it with anything else. It's built like those Avalon Tube preamps. Real solid real smooth. Also ABSOLUTELY NO PLASTIC on the faders and knobs.

check out this thread and ask around. Just had a TA meet up in Washington and I let everyone play on it. They will give you a full review. with pictures.

it seems like a great mixer. if i had the choice of any mixer to buy, regardless of price, I'd probably get the vrm-10.
