| i wish the scene was bigger where i live, that makes me think that waht dave said is bull. cause if this is big then that would mean that it non-existent over there. |

The US scene may be getting bigger but we still won't see stuff like Trance Energy or Sensation here...at least not for a long time. |
based on the talk about this years sensation and trance energy, i dont want them in the us. not many peolpe had many positives to say about them. from what i have heard i think all those id-t parties have been going downhill since 2000. |

| Personally I think none of you know what you're talking about. Every post in this thread is biases, with All the UK people saying Dave Ralphs full of it, and all the American's saying he's exactly right, and one Canadian who has become disenchanted with him for personal reasons trashing his credibility. Anyways, I have nothing to say cuz I've never been to the UK and I really don't know. If it is true, it's only temporary anyways. There's a continual cycle in pop culture where things get big in the UK and reach America half a decade later. |

I read a quote like that over a year ago by Dave Ralph, are you sure that is recent?
People dissing Ralph's talent over this, that is just lame. The guy is quality and knows how to throw down. Agree or Disagree, that's fine but don't bring a guy down for his opinions - |

At least here in Houston the scene sucks. Music is still horrible. Alice Deejay still rules. Any club that plays decent music gets shut down. People who can actually spin good tunes never get a chance to get a job. I mean really, a guy gets compared alongside Tiesto in a magazine and still cant get a job...silly.
Dave Ralph is totally wrong, US scene is weak and seems to be fading fast. Dance will never overtake Rap in the US. |

| from where i live and what've i seen and as an american the dance/electronica scene around here is pretty weak...big name DJs from Europe rarely come over to california to perform...dave is just being biased towards New york and some of the bigger name cities where DJs would like better to make a name of themselves cuz over here in california we get nothing. people in skool still are listening to pop, pop rap, rock etc and whenever dumbasses always try to listen to my mp3 player and find its all trance they get turned off...trance will never make it big in the states...it's gonna hvae to take more dj sammyies and alice deejays to influence the states pop culturely |

| As far as the US scene goes, I guess it depends where you are. Here in DC and neaby it's goin great. We get a lot of the big DJ's coming through and some local ones that can hold their own with the best. I guess out west and away from the big "Club" cities, it's a different story. |
