Andain - Make Me (Bassin Twins Dub Mix)

Apparently, Radio 1 left out this track from their tracklisting of Gabriel & Dresden's Essential Mix from 09-03-2003. Thanks to TiestointheMix, it's been ID'd as Andain - Make Me (Bassin Twins Dub Mix). For those of you with the EM, it's played at 57 minutes into the mix, between Der Dritte Raum - Hale Bopp and Andain - Beautiful Things.
There is a EM rip available of it on the hub now. What do you guys think of this track? Personally, I can't get enough of it listening to it followed by Beautiful Things...
G&D (and Mavie/Penner :D ) are on fire right now!!! |

i thot this was Beautiful Things at first, and i was amazed.
i wont say i was disappointed by Beautiful Things, cause it is more in line with what i expected the new Andain to sound like. this song on the other hand was the high point of that set. ing woulda blown the roof off in a club, car or anywhere else.
then again im a fan of big chunky breaks. everyone should be, except those that cant dance to breaks:stongue: |for shame |

i think that probs for id'ing that track do not belong to tiestoinmix, but to rowaninlove, who id'ed the track for tranceaddict.

what i thot as soon as i heard this was:
a)that it was andain, tho not beautiful things nec, and
b)that it sounds like old school crystal method, which is more nostalgic, but big and chunky.
i wonder if thats where the Bassbin Twins got inspiration...hmm| |

| holy-- just downloaded the G&D mix(had some problems with direct connect n couldn't download it) This song owns the out of me-- its a bummer I can't find the vinyl anywhere. Maybe someday. |

yah i spoke to a friend who thot this song was 'too slow' but without Make Me the EM would just go Hale Bopp-Beautiful Things...and then we would have Ferry mixing! :D

I hear ya on this one--it contrasts the two tunes that surround it perfectly. an awesome move in my book--definitely an original mixing style |
