lol. for some reason when i read this question i think of the commercial trance ya know?

like atb, darude. they have their own sound. :) trademarks. robert miles has his piano melodies that are made up of nearly the same amount of notes each time and sound great. :) rank 1 has that 'airwave' synth in like every song. scooter has his trademark MCing in his songs. etc. etc.
arno
atb, all those commercial songs of them have that gitar thingie in it, like till i come, don't stop and i forgot the name of that other one.
Blik
the productions of PvD have the same sound
magrec
armin van buuren has also his own sound in his productions and remixes.
JdDark
max graham: his sound is the same always, and i love it
you can hear his choice of music in his track selection too

most artists have their own sound.. or else they wouldn't be as famous as they are...
in a way darude, atb, etc are well known because of their own sound.. be it a bit commercial and cheesy..
but nonetheless..
Corsten, Buuren, Pvd, Tiesto, Pulser, Tilt, etc all have their own sound
