I dont belive there is a such thing as a better person, you can't change yourself in days it takes years and self disipline, to feel good on the inside you need to feel good no the outside, do lots of sports , don't stick to traditional routines, meet new ppl. etc

Did I miss the action again?

I don't think you need to concentrate on being a better person. Stop worrying about how others percieve you and be yourself.

I've known you a while now, ur a good bloke mate.

Whats making you bitter? you sound like ur going thru a crisis or you did sumthing a little silly tonite and regret it...

Don't drink beer, it don't help to cure your sorrows, it just drowns them, but they leave scars that will not heal...

Work out your probs, seek out for ppl who care for you and you will succeed...

yo andy

what's been done is done

all you can really do is apologize to the person that you've offended and see if that person will forgive you

quote:
The way to experience ultimate happiness is to let go of all worries and regrets, and to know that being happy is the most satisfying of life's feelings. Reflect back on all the progress in your life and allow the positive, creative and joyous thoughts to outshine and overwhelm any sorrow or grief that may linger in the recesses of your mind. Knowing that disease and disaster are natural parts of life is the key to overcoming adversity with a calm and happy spirit. Happiness is waiting there in front of you. Only you can decide whether or not you choose to experience it. Take this to heart.

quote:
Forget sadness, anger, grudges and hatred. Let them pass like smoke caught in a breeze. You should not deviate from the path of righteousness; you should lead a life worthy of a man. Do not be possessed by greed, luxury, or your ego. You should accept sorrows, sadness and hatred as they are, and consider them a chance for trial given to you by the powers...a blessing given by nature. Have both your mind and your time fully engaged in budo, and have your mind deeply set on bujutsu.

I don't know what you are going through but I hope the above quotes help in some way. As for being a better person, it's a lifetime to achieve, one day at a time :)

one thing that kinda helped me chillout a little and gain a better perspective on life (and please, i know this may be cliche, cuz it deals with music) is following Global Underground's motto; those 'fat lads' really came up with a good one. Well, they didn't, but I associate it with them. It's on every GU.

DON'T TAKE LIFE TOO SERIOUSLY

think about this, think about it again, it'll slowly change your perspective and sooner or later you'll stop caring about so many trivial things that at one time might've bothered the living hell out of you.

You are asking this question so obviously you are unhappy about some aspects of yourself. Know what you don't like, and try to improve. There are some characteristics that are very hard to change, but try as hard as you can.

Like someone said, don't take everything too seriously. Sometimes backing off will make you realize there are better alternatives to things beside what you think.

Take it easy my friend.
