If any of you out there have ever used/ or use coricidin to get high i suggest you strongly reconsider not taking it. Recently several of my friends have begun to use it quite frequently and i myself tried it and so i decided to do some research on it. Apparently it is really bad for you, (yeah i know drugs are bad piss off lolz) this one is harmful no matter how you use it. Apparently there are 2 conflicting active ingredients in it, DXM (the fun one) and one other chemical that starts with a C and is to confusing for drug addicts ne way :Þ. DXM is a cough supresant that in high doses is a halucinagenic and in extremely high doses can pretty much take effect like a tranq. Ne who DXM is the same chemical found in tussin or vicks, also if you are lucky enough to have em in a pharmacy near you pills called dexalone have pure DXM and no conflicting active ingredients so you dont have to down tussin if that aint your thing.
Why is coricidin bad? welp the two active ingredients are both broken down by your liver more so a chemical in your liver, the body only produces small amounts of this chemical, so when you take your 16 tabs of coricidin to get nice n ed up your poor lil liver is getting his ass kicked heh. In addition Coricidin overdoses are not fun they pretty much model heroin overdoses. You begin to sieze and convulse and vomit and all that fun stuff. A kid out my way lay face down in a front yard for two hours shaking and convulsing until he was arrested, yes not taken to a hospital but arrested. He is still alive thankfully but it shows you that just cuz its cold medicine dont mean it aint serious.
Well if i can find the info as easy as i did im sure any one can. Just search for Coricidin several websites are out there to urge people away from using this and i can see why now. So if you are a person who enjoys DXM trips like me i urge you to not use coricidin, its very dangerous, and odds of overdosing are very high.
While cough syrup is icky its better than the alternative. Anyone who cand find dexalone is in the best bracket, it has 2 times the amount of DXM that coricidin does and its not nasty syrup heh.
If anyone is into DXM i strongly recomend you research it, im sure expirienced users are fine but someone trying to get the high for there first time could easily be misguided into what type of pills or cough syrup to take and wind up having a siezure. Drugs are never risk free, but plz dont wind up like some of the kids i know, limit your risks do your homework on the your putting in your body. Cuz for those of us who like to "enhance reality" the risk is worth it in our minds at least :).
Additional Note: For all of you who go off on like every thread on drugs plz dont flame this its merely to inform any kids who take this stuff to perhaps look elsewhere for DXM, I just want them to be as safe as can be when doing these sort of things since they are going to attempt to get high regardless. |

Dood if you r gonna use this ..might as well take sum Robitussin B or C.... same .. just lower dosages... and its legal over the counter...
Althought BAD ... the next day you are ed up like hell... NEVER AGAIN! |

I remember taking that once. My friend and I had taken a few tabs, and he always said that enhanced the trip. I took 4 one night along with 2 tabs. It made me hallucinate like nothing else.
