Yea if you think this is pretty bad you've GOT to see it on tape. It was for a social behaviour class and we got to actually see a videotape of the 60's experiment.
In the beginning the "learner" cursed and screamed as the voltages grew. Towards the middle they actually started crying and pleading for the "teacher" to stop. Then towards the end you heard absolutely NOTHING from the "learner." Near the end the "teacher" was actually nervously, laughing to the extent that he couldn't believe the experimenter was telling him to go on but he DID. And this was your typical middle aged businessman!! Not some bum off the street. It's seriously one of THE most ed up things I've ever seen. If you get a chance and find it try to watch the video.
Just as a sidenote, an experiment like this is illegal now but I'm glad they did it while they could. I always wondered how an intelligent, European society such as the Germans could do what they did, and this gave me some understanding as to why things happened. |

Dude I would have no clue where to even look. My guess is to search a very good public library or university to see if they have a copy. Your best bet is to ask a sociaollogy or psychology department since it seems to be a relatively famous case study. |

There is no, and absolutely no reason, that tiesto14 is still here. The only reason I can think of its because there dont semm to be any rules here, and everybody can shout out moronic stuff and facist phrases at will. ok so be it.
I have no problem discussing with a fellow tranceaddict who has opposite views of the matters when is stating his opinions fair and with arguments (-> Eugene).
