girls grow up too quick and emotionaly mature too late. most of these girls you are trying to get with are emotional wrecks, as they are pretty young.
basically, don't get distressed, everyone gets laid and everyone finds a love. |

That was almost exactly 6 years ago. We've been married for almost 3 years. Still the best sex ever, and she's just as frisky as me (if not more).
Moral of the story: Marry the frisky ones - they are the most fun. Keeps ya on your toes! |
Exactly!! I met my husband at a party, went home with him, married him six months later, absolutely the best and exciting sex I ever experienced. We've been married for a year and it hasn't gotten boring yet. :tongue2 |

Vesa after I read several of your posts concerning this dating/sex topic I suggest that you write a book! Really great funny stuff u're sharing! :p
And about the quote: That's true but the biggest satisfaction is reached when one manages to turn the tide and play with HER. That is, after achieving your goals, let go and make her come after you, good stuff :thepirate |

It's called courtship, and evolution has imprinted it in the female brain and hormones. A woman may be dying to have sex with a guy she fancies, but still be outwardly subtle and resist it because her brain is simply wired that way.
Courtship is a complex process, and can't properly be put into words. Basically it's like: the guy makes an advance, the girl resists, the guy persists, the girl lets him proceed a bit, the guy advances even more, the girl thinks it's too much and puts some brakes on. After a pause (or possibly on the next date), the guy tries again with another advance, and now the girl is ready to proceed again a bit.
Of course, if the girl doesn't like the guy, the interview is over immediately, and the guy had best forget about it. If the guy tries to advance too fast or unwantedly, the girl pushes him away or slaps :D
The stages of courtship are well-documented. The following page presents it in the form of developing intimacy:
http://ourworld.compuserve.com/home...er/12steps.html
When women say that they can't easily have sex without an emotional aspect, they probably mean that they are ready to have sex only when an approproate level of intimacy has been reached. If she has already lusted after the guy for a long time because of his good (= bad ?!) reputation, the girl may be ready for sex after talking to him for only half an hour. Then there's very little resistance from her. But with some ordinary guys, she may need half a dozen dates to notice that he's a really cool man. Of course, the timespan of the courtship also varies depending on what the girl wants from the relationship (one-night stand, something undefined or a steady relationship).
What I wrote above may sound scientific and boring, but it's just a simplification. In reality, the details and roles of courtship occur in countless combinations. It's not at all unusual that the girl makes some of the advances. But in general it's the guy's role to have main responsibility of advances, and girl's role to adjust speed of advances.
It's great fun, so I suggest you enjoy woman's subtlety and resistance, instead of getting frustrated. It's the best game out there ;)
PS. When the guy and girl have had sex, everything changes. After that, the female mind will usually allow having sex without any courtship. But occasionally the girlfriend needs to go through the stages of the courtship process again (of course, the guy can advance guite fast, like when having a candle-lit dinner together). This kind of mini-courtship is called being romantic ;) |
Well, guess I kinda blew that "courtship" theory out of the water.
My courtship = 2 hours
Then, off to the sack we go!
Ya know, I admit I was lucky to find someone so quickly, even though we dated for another 2 years before getting hitched. And granted, it hasn't been a boatride the whole way either (are they ever?). But she's definitely the one and always will be. But this thread's about the differences between guys and girls having or wanting sex. I've never had a problem with a girl wanting or getting just as much sex as a guy, and I've met and dated plenty of them in the past. Geez, what are they supposed to be, Catholic nuns or something? Sex is in fact, a very healthy part of our well-being, provided it's not used for harmful means or if you're a freak about it (nymphos, lunatics, ya know what I mean).
Conversely, there are some women (and probably in some rare instances, a few men) that may not want as much sex as bunny rabbits. Doesn't make them wierd or anything - maybe there's other things on their minds, who knows. But I won't judge them as prunes either (they're just not my type!). |

MisterOpus1 and others who are saying things like, "oh it's easy, I've never had a problem with this issue" don't realize that for some (many?) guys, it JUST DOESN'T HAPPEN.
i believe this is largely due to a difference in personality. i.e. people who are not really outgoing types will have HUGE problems getting laid, even if they are really nice guys! actually nice guys have a tendency to not be the outgoing type. why? because outgoing types are usually assertive and like to dominate. kinda like alpha males. whereas "normal" guys are not like this and thus hardly ever "succeed".
therefore for these guys, the leap from being single to getting laid is such a HUGE leap, not only physically, but CONCEPTUALLY. you have to understand the difference. and they're not perverted or "have problems", they're just different.
to guys who are like this, all i have to say, though it may sound harsh, is, "Sorry, oh well! better luck next life!"
there's not much you can do, really, other than radically changing yourself (which is possible), or just forgetting about it and letting things happen as they come.. if you get lucky, you get lucky. otherwise, ... *shrugs*
or start practising Brahmacharya... which would be good in itself.. ;) |

"I'm the type of guy that girls like to hug. The 'friend' guy."
- Kicking and Screaming
Just reminded me of that movie. Great flick. Seriously, always kinda considered myself one of those "nice guys", and I had my fair share of not getting girls because of shyness, lack of confidence, whatever. I guess I just got to a point where I stopped giving a about it (back in my college days, mind you). I stopped being worried about putting on a facade of sorts, and decided to have a good time wherever I was at. So while my buddies spent their nights at bars googling over girls and having wishful thoughts, I just spent my time talking to people I knew, shared a lot of laughs, drank a lot, and went to the dance clubs to dance my ass off, with or without them. In other words, I stopped caring about the opposite sex so much and became myself with no worries whatsoever. Kinda went against my male hormonal instincts, but I did it regardless.
Strange thing is, not only was I having more fun once I did this, I met and dated more girls during this time, which included meeting my wife. She saw me for who I was immediately and liked it I guess.
So I suppose you can take the approach of "stop being the 'nice guy'" and take chances, or you can be yourself and allow things to come to you. If you think about it, either way is taking chance I guess. I don't know, whatever gets you your jollies! |

my feeling exactly...i also think that the guys who do get laid alot often tend to give undue credit to their personality, when in actuality their good looks have a much bigger role to play than they would like to admit...i guess it's cos they like to think that they're getting laid not simply because they were lucky to have been born with good looks, but because they have actually worked at it...just my $0.02 :D |

i think its definatly due to the double standered (its cool for guys to alot of chicks not for a girl to screw alot of guys).
there are other social factors which cause it also.
many girls are focused on trying to be in a relationship guys just getting laid.
theres a whole bunch of stuff.
in any case, im just gawdamn sick of it.
i want to meet a girl who's as open to sex and as horney as i am.
no obsessed with games and attention.
ready to just get down and do it whenever.
not all shy and coy or inhibited.
but i hate it when a girl flaunts the fact that they love sex so they can get attention. |
Dood that last line.. SO ING TRUE!!! true slutty material... make sure you have your radar on kids.. cause this is one unstable bitch!

i'm sorry, nothing personal, but what makes you so good? what makes all of you so good, that you look down on other people? what gives you the right to insult somebody else? why don't you just let them be and pass along? everyone's a wanker in their own way. |
You know why they do it? cause they aren't facing them... those are the s who are all talk and no action... pfft.. anyone can talk...
THEY ARE THE WANKERZ!!!
