I'm about to buy this record but I'm not sure exactly what versions I am getting. The one I am gonna get has the Evolution mix on it, and the Lifeline Mix (original). I'm looking ot get ahold on the Original Mix, the exact one that is played in the last scene of 'Groove.' Just wondering if that is indeed the Lifeline mix...
Thanks
DJ_Skaya
The evolution mix is a lot like the original, accept the synth for the melody is different and not nearly as good IMO. Lifeline is like a dub mix of the original. The song life line could aslo be titled "Heaven Scent Part 2". Basically it has the same baseline and percussion, but a different melody than heaven scent. What Digweed would do in some of his sets would be to mix Heaven Scent into lifeline making it flow together smoothely and have ti sounds like an 18 minutes track. Lifeline is much more progressive than Heaven Scent, so if you don't dig the prog sound, I would stear clear.

I'd leave that alone.. if you like prog then ok.. but otherwise stick to the originall...

I got the one with Original mix and John Johnson mix. Johan gielen plays the john johnson mix at mysteryland 2000.

Try the POB remix while you're on it. :)

you can get hold of the original mix quite easily, it's not rare or anything

The vinyl with the Orignal and the Pob Siesmix is a really good one. Get that.

There's also a breaks mix that is pretty close to the original, just a different beat structure. Has that been released ever? Or just a promo?
