You constantly bring up this "gun in the head" analogy to argue your point but its flawed... it never happens.... and its not realistic.....
I think after youve experienced 9/11 you would be more sympathetic to innocent loss of life... instead.. it has turned on you and made you just as disgusting as your war mongering corporate puppet president.....which in my opinion is worse than anything.

Of course I wouldn't say kill me, even if I had the choice. Simple reason for it is that it is worse to lose a child than to lose a parent. I wouldn't say to kill my mother either, I would say to kill the Iraqi guy. But the terrorists haven't killed your mother, they've killed people you don't know. A more realistic question for me would be that I had to choose whether to kill a croatian guy I never saw before or several Iraqi individuals. If all those people are more or less equal in their moral and intelligence levels, then I'd go for the lesser sacrifice. |
