HI. I really need to know ASAP if .wav format samples can be loaded into Reason? |

Nope. They made 3 samplers that can't load samples... ;)
You can't load audio tracks in like with cubase or logic though, so perhaps this is what's confusing you.
But if you need to put in wav's, use the nn19, nnxt, or redrum. |

Yeah, if you want to load a wav. file into redrum, click on the button that has a picture of a folder on it. This is located next to the up and down arrows on each particular instrument in redrum. It will open a window asking you to select the path of the wav file you want to use. With the NN-19 sampler, load it by clicking the folder button next to the up and down arrows ABOVE the keyboard display, NOT on the one to the left of it. As far as I'm aware, the NN-XT sampler won't load wav. files. |

You can load wav's into the nnxt as well... it's not a complicated process. I don't have reason so I can't open it up and explain how, but I'm sure there's lots of other people here who can. |

Update: just checked in CM.
Right-click on the interface and select 'Add Zone' or use the edit menu. Then just hit the 'Load Sample' button.
I think that's all you need to do, but there may be more. |
