the palestinians, you can call them arabs, but all it shows is your ignorance and contempt for them. They have been known as the palestinians for a lot longer than people were known as israeli's

it's a sorry fact that the palestinians are not the most fortunate group, and have never been well liked within the arab nations, which is strange seeing as the rest of the middle east would like nothing more than a creation of palestine...how things change.....

Why is it, according to many articles written in 1967, that when the Arabs talked about "occupied territories", they meant all of Israel?
I'm guessing they didn't like the jews being there

it's not the israeli people I have a problem with Mike, it's right wing extremism. And I find it ironic that for a race that has been persecuted thoughout history by right wing extremists, that the majority of israel voted for a right wing extremist with a history of persecuting the palestinians, but maybe thats just the kefia wearing anti semite in me :rolleyes:

Respects for answering my question (although not what i would call sufficiant). We will obviously not agree on everything, but i appreciate you posting your opinions.
The others i have asked to do the same have visited this thread a bunch of times already(i see you browsing this forum), and have yet to rise to the challenge put forth upon them.

The post about the Israelis torturing and murdering arabs is an example of an organisation and society that pretends that it cares about due process, but doesnt when push comes to shove care about the lives of arabs.

It always propaganda when it shows the truth. Robert Fisk is a respected Middle East correspondent. The man was there. He saw these things. He bore witness to countless massacres during all of the middle easts wars some committed by the Lebanese, some by Syria some by the PLO, but the worst committed by Israel or its proxies.
To say that what I quoted was propaganda is the saming as saying that a guy who says the sky is blue is guilty of propaganda.

Rupert, you're taking selective cases of Israelis who think that way and extrapolating that as to what the general population or the government think. I have yet to see any conclusive evidence that the goal of the Israeli government is to massacre Palestinians. |
