| Whooo Hooooo im flyin' out from Boston to go to this. Can't wait -- seen Tiesto about 7 times, but not since last October here @ Avalon. Lookin forward to this, and to recieving a proper Chicago-Welcome from the Porkmeister :D |

I so want to go to see Tiesto at the HOB, but I have graduation that day. I could just say screw it and not go, but my friend travelling from detroit to see me might get a little mad.
I figure that the least thing that i could do is show up to my own graduation. Damn college.

As to the comment about "perfect venue for a DJ" -- whoever said that must have been blasted at the time, as no sane person would make such a statement. Proper DJs like Tiësto need to be someplace like Vision... |

| FFS if this ends up like Paul van Dyk @ Riviera I'm going to be really ing pissed. Why on earth did Spundae choose to book this show @ HOB outside of Vision, where they run bookings? They should have learned their lesson from Pure. I don't think they understand how popular Tiesto has gotten and how out of control this is going to get. I'm still going to go, but it just got a lot less exciting. |

I don't think this is spundae's mistake so much as a contract requirement for whatever drug deal brough this ps2 dual play stuff on.
but then again, I'm just speculating.

Tiesto at the House of Blues?!?!?!
This will by far be a mind-blowing experience. I'm still recovering from his show at the Blue Room Experience in Detroit last Thursday! He was insane, the set he played was one of the greatest ever. Me and a bunch of other TAs and others are driving out from Ann Arbor and we can't wait for this show, so you all better be ready because the TAs and especially Ann Arbor will be represented at this event! I can't even begin to list the songs I hope he spins...I'm holding my breath, waiting for something amazing to happen. I have no doubt in Tiesto, he will provide Chicago with another life-altering experience they won't beable to forget!!!

Trust me, they wanted him at Vision. But they had no choice in the matter. I don't know the specifics, but my guess is that HOB has some exclusivity deal for the PS2 dual play tour such that any city with a HOB it's required that he play their venue. Sucks, but nothing to be done for it. Cept to bring him back again later on on their own.
PVD at the Riv was a great show, even with the heat. It sucked at first, but in the end I still danced my ass off the his entire set as I got past the heat and was just enjoying myself. And that's not normal for the Riv; other shows there have been fine. The rumor is their A/C units were busted and not running. How true that is I dunno. |
