Good idea. I was going to start one of these threads myself, but looks like you beat me to it.

This is a fairly useful page to monitor:

http://www.cnn.com/SPECIALS/2003/ir...cker/index.html

I know that a lot of you aren't overly keen on CNN, but so far as US news services go, I find that they're probably the most impartial. This gives a summary of each of the days events and you can read most of the summaries in greater deal if you like.

Anyway, let's try and keep this going, and leave it as a thread where information can be posted without debate. So if you come across an interesting article, or any interesting developments leave them here. Just leave the debate outside. ;)

Would this be a good topic to make a sticky? Mods?

interesting...

At lest two of the eight supposedly Iraqi missiles that hit Kuwait turned out to be US sea-launched cruise missiles that strayed off course. This can be clearly seen even from the craters left in the ground by the explosions of these missiles. After detonation the “Scud” warhead leaves a crater as much as 8 meters deep. What was observed in Kuwait, however, is the typical crater left by the detonation of a cruise missile’s warhead. The story with the rest of the Iraqi missile launches is also unclear. Experts are leaning toward a possibility that the explosions in the Kuwaiti border regions were caused not by missiles but by 120-mm mortar shells fired by the Iraqi mobile units.

yeah man,.. when i started reading the debate on war... it was already three pages with flaming and quotes from all over the place... lol

so i thought lets keep an objective thread which lets us know various viewpoints without "user interference" lol...

Please dont disregard this site, by looking at the url, as just another bull antiwar website.

Have a look. It sources many different sites with differing views/opinions etc. Lots of opinionative articles etc.. and not just news from the current iraqi conflict, but also news on developments from israel, & nth korea, amongst other stuff.

My nu. 1 source of news.
