Stanton (RM 3s)
Vestax (pcv 175)
Numark (dm 3001) and (dm 3002) model

Any help would be great or suggestions...

These are all quality mixers but if you are looking for best sounding mixer, i suggest you pick up the vestax because it has the best sound.

As far as the numarks goes i heard bad things about them but i have never touched one so...

i think mosiac has a Stanton (RM 3s) he might reply with some comments.

Ummmmmmm from what I know the Vestax pvc 275 is better than the 175, the 175 has "clicking" noises apparently on the kill switches for the highs/mids/lows etc. The others I haven't heard of...

Well, I am looking at the Stanton myself (know where to get it for 457) But I have used Vestax Mixers and they are great (altho Pricey) I used TranceArmada's (ing WICKED!) I believe the V275 (or 270 I dunno). Anyone used the Stanton? Some Arrogant Trance DJ in my school told me it breaks fast altho he is the type of guy who is full of .

I have a Stanton RM-3 (RM-3s is just a newer model, and the only difference, as far as I know, is the silver finish, and a cue panning fader)

If price was not an issue, I would go for the Vestax.

If you were working within a budget, you can pick up a Stanton RM-3s pretty cheap (I got mine for $300). It is an excellent mixer.

Personally, I would stay away from Numark mixers. You will probably hear mixed reviews all over the place, but I've heard enough bad ones to say that I wouldn't recommend those Numark mixers, ESPECIALLY against Vestax or Stanton.

Now, for my final piece of advice: BUY LOCALLY.

You might be able to find good prices from stores in the US, but shipping taxes and customs costs are a bitch, as I painfully found out with some records from Florida.

check out www.buysellzone.com and of course, www.ebay.ca

Thanks for the input from everyone

I would go with the Vestax 270 but its just too expensive for me right now...

I also heard the the Vestax 170 has pretty bad kill switches, they make clicking sounds(I dunno I haven't tried it myself, I read some reviews)

I think I might look into the Stanton RM3s

If theres any other model anyone thinks that is a good buy please mention it now, I have my b-day coming up and my gf wants to chip in with me for a mixer :D so I need to decide soon...
