So Eugene are you tellin me that if you saw a girl you liked, you wouldn't start chattin with her, you'd wait until (hopefully, but not likely) somebody introduces you to eachother? :eek:
How do you MEET people!? How do you make NEW friends!? Through old friends? Then how did you make THOSE friends!?
I talk to strangers all the time. A stranger is just a friend you haven't met yet, ever hear that? Well it's true. The world isn't out to get you! There still are decent people out there... :) |

i really suck at it and maybe you're right, but i cannot even talk to other guys just straight out.. well something i need to learn.. my problem is that i have no clue what to talk about! If i meet someone and can start chatting away about one of the areas i know stuff in, i am golden, no problem, i can talk for hours on, with a person i do not know, but when it comes to everyday stuff.. i am just no good...
well sorry for going off topic guys.. i am still interested in what happened to proximus |

sometimes U just don't feel like bothering to talk to strangers. some freak out, some just shut U up pretty soon... U will not start talking to a random guy on a bus, but U might do it at a rave or a party. because for sure there is something that got U together in that spot... music, desire to meet new ppl and so on... so I guess it's all about the setting.

Well, I bet it would be uneasy to do what you say, really uneasy :rolleyes: When she looks at me, those 2-3 sec side-glances, maaan I just can't say a word, "burn and shiver, when you look at me"  but somehow I know she feels same way... (what a conceit :) )
Hey, prolly, i'm making too much fuss out of it,- "think less, act more", 'cose it'll be too late, and this used to happen with me too often to repeat it once again :confused:
And idea about "smoking j" is not that bad, unfortunetly i don't smoke, so maybe some whiskey will help me to loosen a bit, to "summon up Dutch courage" :D :D :D

I love this thread cause it describes 80% of my life---> Seeing the "most beautiful girl in the world" and not doing nothing. Yep somehow i got used to it. In the last 2 years ive had some..5, 6 such situations. In clubs, school, or even the bus! Last summer there was this girl sitting in front of me in the bus..so we had this "you look at me and i look down in shame..and vice versa"- game goin..till it was time for me to get off the bus and as i jump down and turn around theres this HUGE smile a real bomb and i was stunned. I remembered the exact time and tried to catch the same bus one week later, and indeed: there she is, and indeed: She ing SLEEPS! It confused me....what normal girl falls asleep in the bus? Next week i kinda lost it a bit...motivation feel down, actually i tried to find excuses for not doing anything once again..and so it died slowly.
And then last december : Well, me and my friends usually go to this dance club, biggest most popular one in our city. Every weekend. Mostly the same ppl..i guess some..1000? It has some areas and lots bars. Point being: thees this kind of the "queen of the club" the chick EVERY guy will agree on as the number 1 chick. And i was one of the first ones to notice it. By the time every1 knew about her i kinda lost hope again, being one amongst so many others. "UNofrtunately" i had seriously "fallen in love with her" and it wasnt the ususal "god how much id like to f.... her"-thing. Somehow out of a sudden i approached her. It was my first time ever to approach a complete stranger (well a female one). Instead of playin cool i did the other extreme by telling her my feelings from the beginning till the end. Admitting my nervousy and how cute sweet beautiful astonishing bla bla she was. Apparently that was TOO much..or TOO honest (imagine a stranger telling you all his feelings..would kinda shock u at first) Moreover i should have considered th fact that she knew about her beauty anyway and that it would have been better to "ignore" that. DAMN.
The result was a smiling "sorry i have a boyfriend" a "oh..ah.." by me and a "but tell me what your name?" by her.
The good things are a, that i was the new hero being the only one to have the guts to approach her and finding out her name ;)
b, that she didnt lie about her bf, since i could witness their wild kissing just a few minutes later :mad:
c, her interest in my name
d, the "breakthrough" as for talking to girls..i felt really "high" at that moment..what a relief.
Unfortunately this feeling of total self-confidence has quickly disappeared again..still i got more hope than before
Generally i agree with drizzt: If theres something i hate, then its the SMALL TALK u have to have at the beginning..the stupid "so where do u study" crap. I really suck at that (also because i try to mix it with some sarcasm no1 except for my friends will really understand)..so no humor and simple small talk are something that distracts me from "flirts". Yeah..:whip: :clown: :eek: :toothless |

Well i like to have the same approach of life too......but unfurtunatley it's not that easy......And not all the Stranger are friend.....(Happen these today .....!)
For the girl.......i have to kind of approach and i don't know why.....The first is to make she had fun kidding,saying funny thing just like i already know her.....the other it's very pathetic ....when i try to speak her softly and in no time i have a lot of embarrasedd .......these are my to approach with girl and i have to say that it shuold be used on different kind of girl.......if there is one more imbarassedd then you i try to use the second approach if not i try the firt one |

yeah go get them.. we all know that you rule, 'cause you like trance :)
anyhow, save the Whiskhey for later.. drink something nicer before.. imho Whikhey is good for relaxing _AFTER_ a stressfull day etc. not helpful to perform an act of courage.. my 2 cents :D |

maybe it is the Germanic-barbaric background we german (austrian) speaking people have...
to get girl:
1. walk out of cave
2. find goodlooking female
3. approach (sneak up on) female
4. forget the talk, use club to knock out female
5. drag back to cave by hair
6. do the animal thing
7. repeat the next day

Well, I'm not gonna drink a bottle, but just few drops, so that i would persue myself i'm a bit more courageous ("Brain is an organ , that imagines that it thinks" :D ) :) And on the other hand, getting wasted sometimes works :D ;) |

the getting wasted part was what i was referring too...
but anyhow, i used to start my evening off with some nice Irish whiskey while i was in Hong Kong.. i don't like the scottish stuff that much, too 'hard' for me. I prefer the Irish, since it has a better taste, more 'round' i'd say (I love Bushmills - Black Bush)
anyhow, i am going off on a tangent again :D |
