i have 2 o2 sims, they have their problems granted, but at the end of the day try and find another company that offers 600 txts for 20 quid. U wont :D

Walk into any mobile fone shop and they will say they cant compete with genie, or o2 txt whise :D

But their site has the odd problems, usually fine, but it looks like they must b updating it or sommit today

theyre e! when it was genie (the website), i had free news alerts, then it changed to o2 and they started charging, so i tried to cancel but they wouldnt let u, there was nowhere on the site to cancel it, u had to go into an o2 shop, get a number, then ring up another o2 place to cancel it, they'd trapped u stealing 10p a day.

O2 are possibly the worst phone company ever.

My mum cancelled her contract in october and as usual she paid the extra month as you do. only the pricks never cancelled it and sent her a bill a month later for another months line rental. she was forced to pay it, then once they finally got the money of her they sent her a bill for four pounds for administration fee's etc.

They are still heassling her for it now, she told them she would get them done for hassassment cos every day they keep phoning her. They even got a debt collector involved.

The funny thing is they probably spent about 200 quid chasing 4 pound

me mum changed her contract from voda to 02, cos all our family is on 02 and it'd be cheaper for us all. Carphone warehouse are useless bastards, they sent her in a circle with the code that was needed to transfer the number. they said phone blah blah and blah blah told her to ring bleh bleh and bleh bleh told to ring carphone warehouse cos they should have sorted it in the first place. and so on. anyway... after we got hold of this code, she went into carphone warehouse to cancel the voda contract and open up a new 02 contract with the same phone number, using that code. the process was gonna take about a month (don't ask why), so the 02 account was gonna be activated in a months time.. she recieved the 02 sim card etc. so for the time being she was still on voda. Now a couple of days later she recieved her first invoice for 02, but, she hadn't been connected yet, so why was she recieving an invoice? The story goes on with this code being invalid due to carphone warehouse not activating it in time or something and so we had to get another code. this took like another month and 02 had sent another invoice to a non connected customer, for renting a line that they're not even connected to... makes sense huh.
Me dad rung 02 up and spent hours on the phone getting the the bottom of it, and got our money back.
Chesco dude, the customer is always right. don't just let them take your money as they say they should be doing. If you have a go at them enough times and tell them your not ing happy and threaten to move networks etc... they'll do something about it. At the end of the day they want your custom!
