Hey everyone!!! what a nite last nite was!!!
I didnt get there until about 3.30am as had to play at Megabar (friends 22nd brithday with Reemo).
Steve Stangis: once again this man showed why he is considered one of the best trance dj's in Melbourne. Steve rocked it with tunes such as Accadia - Blind Visions (bought that one off vinylwarning), Matt Darey - Moody (awesome), Three Drives - Greece 2000 (G&M rmx) and some others that I forget.
Then the 5AM tag team (me and Reemo) got up there and played our usual uplifting style. We played (not in order)
Project Medusa - Exor (Donald and Giles mix)
new Euphonic (cant remember name as decks are outside)
John Askew - New Dimension
Midway - Monkey Forest
GTR - Mistral
Pulser - Cloudwalking
Moby - why does my heart feel so bad
Liquid Child - return of atlantis
Dito - Sky (original mix)
Talla 2XLC - can you feel the (Flutlicht mix)
Cosmic Gate - raging (Flutlicht dub) ---- encore!!!!!
cant remembe all of them people but it was awesome and an honour once again to see all the ta's rocking it in the early hours of the morning. (SQ-K, Michael) and the rest of you guys are awesome (was great to catch up again.
Just a little note to say that vinylwarning volume 1 has been mixed by mylsef and Reemo and will be released next week some stage. This mix is full of the tunes that have been rocking 5AM the last two times we've played there. I dont want to hype it too much but I think all the ta's will absolutely love it (totally an uplifting affair).
